Heyaa!! I am Noran Omar (if you couldn't tell by now) I am a Producer, Filmer and Video Journalist . Currently working at QPTV. I host my own show called Power Youth! Here is how I got into it:

Growing up in a mixed my middle eastern household (my mother is Moroccan and father is Egyptian)  meant that politics were insert my blood, a key element in my everyday life. I always dreamt of becoming a journalist since the day I started talking. I always believed that public speaking is the key to voice your opinion, and I have opinions about almost everything.  I believe one voice can make a difference. There are many unanswered questions in the world and I have made it a goal as journalist, to find the answers. Growing up in a such controversial time period made me appreciate the diversity that politics provides, as well as the importance of being able to voice my opinion through journalism.

I strongly believe that it is never too early to start the career you always dreamt of. Therefore, I took matter into my own hands. I created my own channel and my own website. Knowing that I am still young, I wanted to attract the eyes of the youth. I want my generation to realise that the future is in our hands, and we must be aware of the real life issues that are happening. This is where Youth Media Channel came from.
